I like to make drawings of animals on newspaper because it reflects how animals and nature are far too often treated like trash. It's too easy to ignore nature because for most people we are too focused on work and social lives to appreciate, and notice the damage that is being done to the earth all around us. I do have hope for the future. But personally I believe that nature, and the creatures that inhabit it are so magical. I want to paint them as a reminder and celebration.

These were all made in the same digital collage process that I use to make my digital collage print designs. A mix of personal photos, online photos, hand drawn drawings, and Photoshop. Each frame is meticulously repositioned to create a smooth animation. These were simply made for fun. They were just experiments because I love making animations. I used Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
